Paint Code Location
BMW paint codes are normally placed under the bonnet, and is either on one of the strut towers, wing edges or on the right side and slightly lower than the wing on the engine wall. Alternatively you may find the paint code on the drivers/passengers door struts. BMW paint codes normally have three digits, and sometimes have a slash followed by a fourth digit. The name of the paint is also sometimes on the same tag.
If you can’t find your paint code on the car your local BMW dealership (parts department) will be able to tell you your paint code from your registration or chassis number.
